Allyon Welcomes Ian O’Leary as Director of the Program Management Office
By Ty Sigmon | May 6, 2026
We are pleased to welcome Ian O’Leary as Director of the Program Management Office (PMO), a role that sits at the center of how we align teams, manage programs, and deliver for our customers. Ian brings deep experience from both the Federal contracting space and the United States Marine Corps, along with a practical, execution-focused approach to leadership.
Ian has spent his career leading teams and managing complex programs that drive mission outcomes, grounded in a consistent focus on alignment across customers, partners, and internal teams.
From Mission Execution to Scalable Delivery
Over a ten-year career in the United States Marine Corps, Ian rose to the rank of Captain and served as an Aviation Supply Officer. He led teams in high-pressure environments, managed critical logistics operations, and developed a clear understanding of what it takes to support and execute mission-critical work.
He later transitioned into the private sector, where he supported major United States Air Force programs and led complex, multi-contract portfolios. In these roles, he oversaw large, diverse, and geographically dispersed workforces while managing high-value, multi-million-dollar programs that served as critical revenue drivers for the organizations he supported. Throughout, he maintained a consistent focus on alignment and execution across teams and stakeholders.
Together, these experiences position Ian well to lead Allyon’s PMO. His time in uniform gave him a deep understanding of the mission, the demands of execution, and the people carrying it out. In the private sector, he learned how to translate those demands into structured, scalable delivery. That combination is critical as Allyon continues to strengthen how we align teams, manage programs, and deliver mission success for our customers.
Culture as the Catalyst Behind Mission Success
Ian joins Allyon at an important moment in the company’s evolution. As Allyon continues to grow as a solutions-driven partner in the Federal space, how we align teams, manage programs, and execute across our entire portfolio becomes even more critical.
The PMO plays a central role in that effort, connecting strategy to execution and bringing consistency to how we deliver for our customers. Strengthening this function is a key step in continuing our shift toward a more integrated, solutions-oriented approach.
At Allyon, we believe culture is the catalyst behind mission success. Process and structure matter, but they only deliver results when teams are aligned, supported, and working toward a shared outcome. That connection between people, process, and mission is what enables consistent performance in complex environments.
Ian’s approach reflects that belief. He prioritizes being fully engaged with the delivery teams who are executing the work every day, ensuring they have the support they need, identifying opportunities for their professional growth, and reinforcing that their contributions are valued. At the same time, he brings a strong focus on engaging directly with customers and the missions we support, working to anticipate needs, offering thoughtful and sometimes non-traditional solutions, and operating as a true partner aligned around shared goals.
That balance between supporting our people and staying closely connected to our customers is a defining part of what makes us a strong partner today, and it will continue to shape how we grow and deliver in the future.
Continuing to Build for Mission Success
At Allyon, mission success is the standard we measure ourselves against. How we operate, how we align our teams, and how we execute across programs all contribute directly to the outcomes we deliver for our customers.
Bringing Ian on to lead our PMO reflects a continued investment in that standard. His experience and leadership approach will strengthen how we manage programs, support our teams, and maintain alignment across the organization.
As we continue to grow, that focus remains consistent in how we approach our work and support our teams across the organization.
We are excited to welcome Ian to the team and look forward to the impact he will have in this role.
