We also oversaw a complete hardware refresh, working with local talent at each of the sites to ensure the transition went smoothly.

The Army Corps of Engineers needed to consolidate infrastructure engineering teams from more than 50 sites around the U.S. into one centralized enterprise. To make this happen, the company needed help identifying, recruiting and retaining talent for many of the different locations. They also needed support for a total hardware refresh as they sought to consolidate all the site systems.

The Allyon Solution

Allyon partnered with our client to provide on-site and remote support, along with custom project management services to help ensure a smooth transition during the centralization process. Our solutions included:

  • Providing help desk and server support, network and system engineering
  • Maintaining data centers with Network, BES, SAN and other hardware support
  • Overseeing a total hardware refresh, consisting of personal computers, peripherals and wireless devices
  • Performing other Project Management Office functions as needed

Delivering Great Results

Thanks in large part to Allyon, we were able to meet and exceed our customer’s expectations. We built a team of over 100 PC technicians in over 35 states to support local operations. We also provided 30 cleared project managers who travelled from site to site to oversee the hardware refresh at each location, along with 20 travelling PC technicians.
